ATV Brakes and Suspension

The brakes and suspension that comes from the manufacturer on an ATV is fine for a leisurely trail ride.

However,  if you plan to ride your ATV on rough terrain such as rocks and steep hills or at higher speeds,  the stock suspension  tends to allow the ATV to bounce and pitch up and down from side to side.  It can be more difficult to control your ATV and the ride can be horribly rough.

At higher rates of speed on steep terrain, the stock brakes can wear out very quickly. The brakes can also get very hot if you are using them to go down a steep hill and can go out completely.

Pushing your ATV to the limits can be fun and exciting. However, it is a necessity to upgrade your brakes and suspension to keep you safe on your ATV.
