Arctic Cat ATVs
Arctic Cat has set the bar high when it comes to ATV Technology. To allow better handling through the turns, Arctic Cat's ride-in suspension lowers the center of gravity while maintaining the best ground clearance in the industry. This lets you clear more obstacles. Adding an extra measure of durability is the zero maintenance bushings and sealed driveshafts. This type of suspension is available on Artic Cat's 550, 700, and Thundercat models.

For added traction, the Electronic Front Differential Lock transfers engine torque equally to both front wheels. The Rear Differential is engineered to deliver maximum power to the tires with minimum driveline wear.
To help balance the ride and allow for long-distance trips that require extended range, Arctic Cat has not only increased the size of the fuel tank but moved it back. This also created an extra storage area for small carry-ons.
Arctic Cat has designed and engineered a V-Twin, Electronic Fuel Injection 4-stroke engine with dynaminc engine braking called the H2 Engine. The "H" stands for hemispherical combustion chamber. This design allows for more complete and more efficient combustion along with mind-blowing power and acceleration.
All of the Arctic Cat ATVs, except the youth models, are available with an Automatic CVT Transmission. This Duramatic Automatic Transmission has Hi and Lo gears along with Neutral, Reverse and Engine Braking.
You can see your performance and operation information at a glance with Arctic Cat's high tech analog and digital instrument pod. The digital instrumentation allows you to see your speed in miles per hour and kilometers per hour, the total hours on the ATV, the amount of fuel you have and the gear you are in. The instrument pod also has a clock and a double trip counter.
New for 2009 are the twelve inch machined aluminum wheels. Arctic Cat's new design has an optimized scrub radius that minimizes the steering effort of the rider.
